Tatenda Tsangu -VP

A team oriented, qualified and dedicated Chemical Technologist having graduated with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Chemical Technology from Midlands State University in Zimbabwe. He has worked in the manufacturing industry, consulting and education sectors. His experience ranges from laboratory management, laboratory analysis and diagnostic testing, operations management, environmental management, hazardous waste management, research and development. He is accustomed to working in fast-paced, challenging environments while accomplishing assigned tasks within standard times under no guidance. He is the founder and Managing Director of Yanga Environmental Services with footprints in South Africa. Yanga Environmental Services specializes in Environmental Management, General and Hazardous Waste Management, Geohydrology, General Building, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Managing the day-to-day operations of Yanga Environmental Services has also exposed him to various government procurement systems in South Africa. With all the attributes above there is no doubt that he is going to add value to Affirmative Action Group.

Shingirai R Ruzungunde - Legal Affairs

Profile : Ricardo is an academic and Pan Africanist who is currently residing in South Africa where he is studying for his Llb at the Nelson Mandela University.A baptised Methodist and proud Alma mater of Christ Ministries High School.He is also an avid follower and analyst of current legal and political affairs both regionally and internationally. He served on the legal advisory team for the Coalition Against Sanctions on Zimbabwe while been an executive member and has been working on improving the  Zimbabwean indiginisation policies in line with the Affirmative Action Group mandate.

Themba Nyoni - Infrastructure and Roads Chairman

He is an academic and business leadership professional with around 15 years of work experience in the government of Zimbabwe and more than 15 years in corporate South Africa. In the government of Zimbabwe, he spent most of his time in education, planning and implementing infrastructure interventions in form of road rehabilitation, temporary infrastructure deployment, and infrastructure enablement for civilian rescue during flooding related disasters. In corporate, he has great experience in strategic leadership in SA, Botswana & Namibia, mainly in IT Infrastructure, programme management and procurement. In terms of entrepreneurship, he has been in business since year 2000 in Harare, ran a successful business in IT. He then moved to South Africa where he ventured into the same field of business before diversifying into Transport and Construction. Currently he holds a BSc in IT majoring in software engineering, several international IT and Programme management certifications, then an MBA

Businessman in the Kingdom of Lesotho, with varsity experience in the Corparate world.Former Overseer of Forward Ministiries International for 12 years and currently a Part Time Pastor, from 2000 to 2012 served as National Overseer Kingdom of Lesotho, responsible for setting up Missions across Lesotho, manage Mission Building Projects,Outreach Programs and sharing on Trinity Broadicasting Network (TBN).2002-2005 joined Harvest FM Christian Radio Station,as Part Time News and International Afairs Program between 0700am-0900am Monday to Friday.2005 -2007 joined Jesu KeKarabo Christian Radion Station as Current Affairs Presenter from 0700am-0900am Monday to Friday.2010 to date established a Local Skills Empowerment Program to train Youth in Construction Industry skills,through BA M&M (Pty)Ltd t/a Expert Technical Trainers,we trained more than 20 000 local Basotho who are now employed in every Construction Site in Lesotho,RSA and Zimbabwe.The Centre is now recognized by the Ministry of Education and Taining.The initiative gave birth to the founding of Central University of Agri Technology Lesotho (CUATL)where am the founding President processes are underway with Council of Higher Education for Accreditation of Courses to be undertaken.2017 to date managed to mobilise 160 local Companies to join my Business Organisation which we founded with 3 Local Parteners,for Training,Capacity building and Compliance adherence for SMEs.2018 founded and initiated Lenea Projects (Pty)Ltd Community based Company to undertake Agro Projects under a 500 Hactors farmland,the Project is at advanced stage towards emplementation.2019 to date facilitated formation of Maluti Egineering Group Consorntium of 13 Electrical Engineering Companies which is undertaking establishment of Solar Farms and Specialised Assembling of Solar Tiles in the Kingdom of Lesotho.2019 founded Miranashe Projects(Pty Ltd) Holding Company for various Investments ranging from Mining,Pharmacicals,Construction and Manufacturing.2019 appointed as Lesotho Chamber of Commerce and Industry Technical Committee Member,which advocates for easy of doing Business with the Government of Lesotho,in line with Policies and Laws which may delay or discourage Business establishments.2020 to date selected to be part of the Prime Minister ‘s Delivery Unit,which is a one stop shop for Capital Investors.

Brenda Banda - Women Affairs Chairwoman

Brenda Banda is a Maths and Science High School Educator, motivational speaker, leader and entrepreneur. She was born and bred in Zimbabwe, did Chemical Technology and is currently doing a UNISA degree in Biochemistry and Business Management. She is a go getter, very passionate and most of all, she does not give up. Brenda is very passionate about women and children and their roles in society. She believes women must be empowered by teaching them essential employment and self development skills, mentoring them personally and professionally and placing them as leaders and giving them decision making roles. Marshal Chimedza -Youth Chairman

Marshal is a Chartered Accountant with over fourteen years corporate experience and is accredited in three jurisdictions – Zimbabwe, South Africa and Botswana. He has key competences in strategy implementation, corporate governance, accounting, risk management, brand growth, debt and equity listings, financial analysis spread across a range of sectors. Currently he is Chief Executive Officer for Morac Capital and has held various management and executive positions in his career which include being the Group Finance Manager at Brainworks Limited, a Johannesburg Stock Exchange listed investment vehicle. He rose through the corporate ladder at African Century Limited to Financial Planning and Reporting Manager and was part of the management team that successfully registered African Century Limited as the first Deposited taking Micro Finance Institution in Zimbabwe. He completed his articles of clerkship at Ernst & Young (Zimbabwe), and most recently he was the Finance Director wherein he was then subsequently promoted to Deputy CEO for Getbucks Limited (Botswana). Marshal holds a Bachelors of Accounting Science and Bachelors of Accounting Science Honours from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and a Certificate in Theory of Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ). He is an ICAZ committee member for the Auditing and Professional Standards Committee and Membership Services Committee Member. Marshal is passionate about empowering the youth and is Patron for Young Minds Africa a Trust focused on advancing youth entrepreneurship and employability in Botswana.

Pasi Mutongoreya -Social Affairs Chairman

P Mutongoreya born 21 March 1979 in Mutare Zimbabwe.Completed a 3 year teaching course from the University of Zimbabwe class of 2000.Taught English language and Sports in Zimbabwe from 2001 till 2005.Left teaching and started a Timber sawmilling company in Mutare and employed 8 youngsters ,our major company being Silkwood a leading coffin manufacturing company in Zimbabwe. I moved to South Africa in 2007 ,worked in restaurants with no time i was promoted to bar and floor manager .2008 I then became a Night manager in a leading boutique Hotel in Gauteng till 2012.Currently teaching at a British International School from 2012 to date. I am a proud owner of a school shuttle company in Randburg and a Private Primary school in Mutare Zimbabwe. Skills: Good communicator and Good public relations.

Walter Ndlovu - Tourism & Hospitality Chairman

Profile: Currently, as the Director of Waterloo Luxury Bathrooms and Director of Smart Mobile Connect SA. I oversee the operations of the two companies both online and on site. Previously as the Director of Incredible Tours and Travel which is currently in operation under the new management in Sandton Area servicing 54 on Bath Hotel, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Southern Sun Hotel Hide Park, Auditor General South Africa, Alcatel Lucent. I single handedly secured the contracts for the business, put systems in place for efficient operation of the business. I sold the business to a friend who was my employee and has grown the business to a recognised business in Gauteng. I began my studies at a Catholic Seminary in the Eastern Highlands boarding school with an aim to become a priest. I studied philosophy and theology as was the basic requirements to be a priest. I dropped out as I realised priesthood was not me. I then moved to South Africa and then to the UK where I took on Sales and Marketing at the University of Wolverhampton in the Western Midlands but never completed due to lack of tuition.
